★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An easily access trial with magnificent view towards Taipei city.
There’s about 20-30% rock climbing session within the total trial. it is better to visit in sunny/ dry day or it could be a bit dangerous and slippery.
Recommended to anyone who has 2-3 hrs to feel the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a difficult trail for beginner. To reach to the top, you will need to rely on the rope for about 10 mins climb. The scenery and the vibe are worth the effort though. Be prepared before going on this trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One hidden gem nearby Taipei. This is better than Elephant Mountain trail with less crowds and a more natural hike. You’ll find trails, rocks to climb and views of Taipei looking thru Songshan Airport to Taipei 101. The views from the peak are breathtaking and makes you feel like you’re on top of the mountain. Roundtrip is around 2 hours and if you start after 9am you can be done before noon for a nearby lunch. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy hike, close to Xihu Rd MRT station. Very simple to get to via public transit. In total it took about 20 minutes to get to the top from the start, although there were a lot of times where I was stuck behind someone else. Today was a holiday so it was probably busier than usual, lots of kids around. There is a bit of rock climbing (if you take the right path at the initial fork). The left path is a bit more gradual so it seems that most people go up from the right path and down from the left path. Lots of signs everywhere as well as rest stops. The view of the city is pretty great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very fun hike with a bit of rock climbing. Usually gets pretty busy on weekends. if you want to take some cool photos without the crowds you’d better come as early as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun trail and great views of the city from the top. We aren't serious hikers by any means, and it wasn't too difficult. We liked that it had the section with rocks and rope and not just the typical stairs.
