★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice mountainous road leading to the temple. The view is rather breathtaking. Small vendors at the temple offer good refreshments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We come here quite often, it is one of the famous temple to go for if you are a salesperson. The temple is home to several “money” Gods, so coming here to wish for a small lottery win, to be successful at work, to get help sorting out difficult projects, is a must! Taiwanese people use to say “if you pray, you will get protected”. For me, it works: every time I come here, business do get a bit better, at least smoother. Must believe must try! The view is fantastic and there is a God of Love just beside it. If you need luck for love, come come!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many lit Pocky sticks being waved around at the height of my face. It seems that the money god doesn’t really care about spatial awareness so someone should really tell him about that. Also, the organisers had put out a giant ingot, which seems completely inappropriate given that we no longer use that as a form of currency or think that capitalism is cool.
