Nice place to drink tea and eat some traditional taiwanese pastries, like mooncake, pineapple cake and eggyolk cake. They have a lot of workshops too, for those who wish to learn how to make the pastries.

I am absolutely recommend you this place to buy a Taiwanese Pastry or Pineapple Cake for souvenir, if you are a tourist. Even the store is a bit far away from the town, but its really worth to visit. You can make an experiment like cooking lab with your group, they welcome everyone who wanna try to make a cake by them self but ofcourse you have to make an appoinment with them first.

I came here with my school mate. We were taught how to make a grean bean cakes, took some photos, and make it by ourselves then. We had fun. Just one thing, the price for one person is 300 ntd is a bit high, in my opinion, for a simple and little amount of material (grean bean, wheat flour) ?. Anyway, we had a good day with new experience .

This pastry shop in Kaohsiung offers visitors the chance to make your own traditional Chinese mung bean (wedding) cookies at Taiwan's most prestigious factory; in fact, it's the only place on the island where one can experience this traditional Chinese baking class. After baking your own cookies, visitors can take a tour of the facilities to learn about the rich history of this cookie shop and what they represent in Chinese wedding culture: they are 1 of 6 wedding gifts presented in Chinese wedding tradition. These type of cookies are also gifted during birth, coming of age, birthdays, worship, and the Lunar New Year. The facilities are clean, built from recycled materials, and have solar panels installed. Guests can also try other traditional Taiwanese pastries as part of their elegant high tea set which I strongly recommend.

Awesome place to experience the taiwanese culture and make your very own pineapple cakes. Our tour guide was very friendly, helpful and explained very well the history of the cakes and their traditions. Our pastry chef was friendly and helpful especially with the kids and explained in detail on how to make the perfect cake. Overall it was a great experience. This shop is located right off the MRT Da Liao station and a short walk. I highly recommend you give them a try when you're in the neighborhood.

A beautiful green building, you would realize the history of Chinese-style traditional wedding cookies culture and its time process. And you are going to understand how difficult and complex the wedding custom is for the couples, hahaha. we recommend here for you guys to visit and experience.
