Previously, limestone was produced here, making Jiuzantou and Hexing a cement freight town on the Inner Bay Line. The target is the Asian Cement Hsinchu Plant opposite the station. At that time, the Yaduzhudong Plant transported the limestone to the plant by cableway, and the coal used for fuel was transported into the plant by train. Therefore, Jiuzantou was the second largest freighter of the whole Taiwan. However, the current output is not as good as before, the railway is not enough to carry the cost, and the whole is changed to road transportation. Therefore, the cargo function of Jiuzantou Station has completely disappeared, and its status has plummeted. Only the abandoned station is left for people to hang. Now you can still see the Asian cement across the station, standing like a monster at the foot of the mountain!!! The room is already being refurbished, and the construction master said that he is scheduled to reopen the visit with a new look in mid-to-late December.
