★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place for a leisurely dinner in an elegant space, where you can order a la carte for a proper western dinner experience. Service is high quality but takes its time... expect a long dinner. Quality of ingredients is good, flavors are more natural and less fussy than many western restaurants in Taipei -- which is a good thing. A nice place to go to have a real conversation with a loved one. It's expensive but worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service quality is under expected. I visited the restaurant today and have told the waiter that it will be a birthday lunch and confirmed they would provide a bday cake. Apparently, they forgot to serve the cake, not to mention several mistakes (eg., salad without any extra plates for us to share) they’ve made during the meal. A big room to improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say! I know this place too well, I am going to this restaurant since its opening. The interior design is very comfortable, with high ceilings. The food is Western, steaks, pastas. The quality of the ingredients are good, don’t expect French cuisine, but good Western food. In fact, I am having almost every Saturday family lunch. And the service also is courteous. If you want a quiet place to have a gathering with friends. I would definitely recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste of the food is fine. Some ingredients seem not very fresh. For example, the pine nuts have an old and oily smell. The apple tart tastes not fresh, either. The service is weird. It seems that the waiters do not communicate very well and different people come at different time to say the same thing. When they talk to the customers, it’s not very relaxing. The tone is not very nice. When they ask for your opinions after you have the food, they are ready to teach you if you have a different thought. This seems not very genuine after I am asked. Hope they work on both the service and the food.
They also say on their website. Their preparation of cooking food is not traditional Italian. If you are more familiar and like the more authentic Italian dishes. This is not a good place to go. But probably good for those local people who do not eat authentic western dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joyce east is definitely my favorite restaurant in Taipei. The main course and dessert are incredibly delicious. The environment and decoration is pretty. Service is amazing too. Lunch menu price is reasonable and make us so full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really glad of the staff and the quality of the service. The food is always good and made with qualitative ingredients.
We had one bad experience but they doubled their efforts to catch up which is so far a success. A place like Joyce Easy that recognizes its mistakes and fixes them is greater than any other one that tries to hide these mistakes…
We keep going there to enjoy good times with good food and we will still go for sure !
