Probably the fastest way to Yilan from the city center

I use this service to visit You from Taipei and certainly this is faster than train and easier.

Went to Yilan and the bus trip was quite nice and comfortable. The prices are good, overall had a great experience!

the car seat of 33 and 35 or the back seat are uncomfortable.we can't even relax our back or have a nap and the seat belt is loose.

I avoid this bus line at all costs if I can take any other bus to Yilan/Luodong. (Capital Star at City Hall, MTC at Dapinglin, or Kuo-Kang at Yuanshan and Nangang.) I always end up waiting much longer (usually 20-25+ mins vs. 2-15 on Capital Star,) always with the worst seats from Tech Building, often with Wi-Fi issues, and they still use a paper ticket system even if you pay with Easy Card. Obviously if Capital Star can put the customer experience first, Kamalan could too, but after 10 years riding both lines, Kamalan continues to lag behind its competitor. Two stars for prime locations and improved station facility at the Tech Building Station, but scheduling remains a major complaint. How do I arrive 25 minutes early only to end up in the back, unreclining row of a packed, non-direct bus at 12:10AM? If the bus is fully packed at that time, run one to Jiaoxi/Yilan and another to Luodong or Yilan/Luodong so a 50-minute trip doesn't become 90 minutes + 25-minute wait, yes? 2 hrs from Tech Building to Luodong with no traffic is nuts. There's got to be a better solution. I regret taking Kamalan from Tech Building every. single. time. Until Kamalan improves their scheduling, I vastly prefer Capital Star.
