★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not the best international airport in the world but this one in Kaohsiung has got a charming appeal. There is this round-shaped viewing window at the far end of the men’s bathroom in the departure hall. It gives you an interesting experience. It slows you down and it creates a window to think through things in life through a series of panels, showing what the Taiwanese value through words of timeless wisdom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small yet efficient airport. Immigration process is fast! But you should arrive there 2 hrs before your flight due to long linesbok the check-in counters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most convenient airports I've been. So close to the city and connected to MRT.
Airport is not that big which is a good thing, won't easily get lost. There's convenience store and inside the international departure, there's a restaurant with reasonable pricing.
International and domestic sections are connected by an overpass walkway (if from intentional, the entry is from the departure area just outside the building, near where people get dropped off by car)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed to Kaohsiung international airport services. Call up for luggage inspection on boarding gate. I have to walk up by myself and check in again at boarding gate. Luckily I able to get on freight. Shall learn from Japan, I had seen them brought luggage to boarding gate for inspection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not as big as other international airport but very convenient. This airport has a MRT which go directly to Kaohsiung city so it makes very convenient for traveller.
Trip takes 15-30 minutes to get to most parts of the city center ( by MRT). This MRT is on the red line so you need transfer to the orange line or green line to get to your destination
Fare around NTD 35 (USD 1.2) one way and the machine ticket takes cash only.
Although this airport is not huge but it has everything you need such as duty free, restaurants etc.

However, with the popularity of vaccines and drugs, international tourism will develop again in the next six months
Kaohsiung Airport is very close to the urban with convenient ways of transportation and perfect internal facilities. The Taiwanese officers in airport are efficient, friendly and Incorruptible. The foods in southern Taiwan are delicious and cheaper.
