Great hospital

I'm waiting for take a medical certificate...

Higher prices than smaller hospitals. Wish more staff spoke English. Seen 2 different doctors and not satisfied.

JCI accredited hospital. Great staff plus the the latest medical tech equals great service.

By far the most expensive hospital I ever visited in taiwan. 2000NTD for an X-Ray and a vague diagnosis... don’t recommend at all

Extremely poor experience with the Emergency Department. They were unprofessional. Lacking so much as compared to world-class medical standard. Was admitted to the A&E with a severe head concussion due to a traffic accident and was suggested to do CT scan. I was pregnant and rejected CT scan due to radiation. The doctor in charge simply discharge me with some painkillers. Admitted to another hospital on the following day and the doctor immediately suggested MRI. Scan revealed Subarachnoid and intracranial hemmorhage. Revisited this hospital and questioned why didn’t the doctor suggested MRI scan instead. He replied because he don’t think I can complete the MRI scan at that point of the time since the entire brain MRI process will take about 30mins and I was suffering from a severe headache which deemed me unsuitable. Well, the funny thing is shouldn’t I be hospitalised then till I am deemed “suitable” in his point of view to take the MRI instead of being discharged? How unprofessional and irresponsible can this doctor be? Do yourself or your love ones a huge favour and boycott this hospital rather than putting your health at risk in the hands of these unethical “doctor”.

The definitive hospital in Kaohsiung City; one of the biggest and busiest. Good services by the hospital staff. Can be a bit uncomfortable on ground level because it's relatively hot and humid. Not enough elevators. Underground parking available, although available parking space can be hard to find.

This is one of the largest medical centers in southern Taiwan. It has the advaced medical euipment, and one of the best medical staff in Taiwan. There are hundreds of people visiting the facilty. The patient has to make appointment in advace to see the doctor and is assigned a number with a fixed date either in the morning or afternoon session. Sometime you get a number in the high double digits, like in the nighties. This means that the doctor would see close to 100 patients in one morning. I had one experience with my number at 70,s and i had to wait a long time and way passed noon time. The docto saw me finally at about 1:30 pm without taking any break for lunch. The doctor and nurse team is still very patient and nice. They must be exhausted after went through so many patients, and still showed their care and professionalsm. I was deeply moved.
