★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a stupid idea to come here...I was going to have dinner there but had some shopping bags, and they gave me a bad seat. Then, the hostess barks at me for my order. I wondered why I should buy an expensive meal here and be treated like dirt, so I did the smart thing and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little disclosure, I’m a teppanyaki fan. This one in the SOGO mall was not the best I had which is surprising because a lot of the small food court cafes here are pretty solid. There was little interaction with the chef and the food was just OK. My fish fillet was on the not crispy side, and my side of steak was acceptable.There was no free tea which bummed me out. I also got stuck on the left side which has less counter depth and appears to be a “faux” cooking surface. There was no disclosure of this when they were sitting us down. if you come here and want the cooking done in front of you, you may not want to be on the left side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good service and the cooking was delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the portion were a bit skimpy for the price though. The "prawns" were actually shrimps - I had thought that only restaurants in the US would muddle such distinction. The other guests ordered steak that looked pretty decent. I would try that next time and skip the seafood.

Taste in general was acceptable, I ordered the stir fry beef, there was alot of onions however the beef portion was a bit small. The rest was alright.
Service wasn't bad, however they don't serve water at all, only offer a soup or you need to order a drink.
Price is a bit higher than other teppanyaki places, good enough to fill you up, but not going to leave much lasting impressions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been able to taste this new renovated branch in 101, its more clean and comfy atmosphere to dine in. I like the seafood with meat combo with 2 style of veggies served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fillet steak was delicious. For $460, the quality of the meat that they use is much better than other teppanyaki places at similar price point. Portion was decent, and of the half a dozen times that we've been here, it's been pretty consistent, as is its other location at tp 101. Occasionally, it can be a a bit salty, but you can always ask the chef to customize the seasoning to your liking.
