★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Keelung station, which is built the end of Qing's Dynasty, is first the beginning of the Taiwan Rail system. As its early construction was done, it became both significant convenient. Nonetheless, it would be better if the staffs there cleaned up that place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Faintly pointless and grandiose edifice serviced by the same very slow and infrequent service that pottered into the old station.
Even more baffling is the decision to 'preserve' the concrete box of no architectural merit that was the ticket hall.
The Japanese-era station was one of the more attractive in Taiwan (perhaps only Hsinchu surpasses it), why not recreate that instead?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great station, short walk to the night market, newly renovated, one of the bright spots of Keelung.
It's a small station, or actually, medium sized, so it's not a super station. But as for location and feel, great for a medium sized one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a bit of a walk from the night market, but easily doable. The walk will involve an overhead bridge, so if you're wheelchair bound, just do the main Street instead of the pedestrian walk way.
Station itself is under construction and has 2 7s and an info center. Info center is pretty friendly, but hope you speak the language. Taiwan is not for folks who only speak English....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean train station, and the train conductor was very friendly, actually told us some cool stories about his career!
We are also amazed that the station set up an women only zone, fantastic idea to protect the females during the night time!

It's been a while not visiting Keelung, and I had this chance to come with some friends. Train station is always an important location of a city, and now we see the brand new one, which is impressive.
The city is really progressing I guess, and friends, it's very welcome to pay a visit to this cute city.
