KING CHUI HONG KONG CAFÉ

Our group of friends had a really enjoyable meal here. There is a wide selection of dishes. The food came a little bit too quickly as many dishes went cold before we could eat them. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The main downside was that there were many staff from other Marriott departments who were doing there as well (which is a great incentive for them). However, some of them did not seek to follow the CDC guideline of wearing facemasks when not at the table. Also the tables they sat did not have the dividing partitions between each person, like our group had to have. I would expect that hotel staff, no matter what department, should go above the health and safety expectations, and not ignore some of the rules. I would come back again, but not during level 2 or higher covid restrictions

Pricy and the taste is mediocre

One of the best Dim Sum places in Taiwan. Yummy delicious food with wide range of choices. Staffs are very attentive even when the restaurant is busy. I’m impressed! ?

Food is great and service is beyond my expectations!

Pretty good start for a new restaurant as part of the Marriott Kaohsiung. The atmosphere is comfortable and spacious. The food is pretty good. Try the Fried Cheese Tofu (Triangular beignet below). Kaohsiung is becoming more incredible every day!

Imo, best dim sum in Kaohsiung. Other than this restaurant I've been to around 5 around town and this one beats them all!

My friend and I had made a reservation at the restaurant for 18:30hrs using my name, Ms. XX. "Are you the booking of Mr. XXXX for three persons?" the waitress asked as we entered the restaurant. (Errrr...... there were no other visitors at that time, so I was perplexed and told her it was a reservation for two people at 18:30 hrs. and no one else was in the vicinity!!) Not only that, but a senior female colleague dashed two meters away, turned around behind her counter, faced the wall, and grabbed a Microphone walkie-talkie, instructing her colleague to inquire for the guest's name rather than guessing what Mr. XX's reservation should be. Their professionalism is unbearable to me. "It's Miss XXX who reserved seats for two at 18:30 hrs., and I can obviously hear your chats," I told them. What an incredible experience!!! Food is fine, by the way. I requested that the chopstick’s replacement due to its decorating tips had come off before I used. The food is simply average, and the pricing is reasonable.
