Food is excellent. Hole in the wall ground pork rice & stewed pig feet.

Good food, good price, friendly staff, usually stays open between lunch and dinner.

A place I visit regularly on working days. Food is okay. I recommend to order their pork knuckles lunch box to go. You can get a box full of steamed rice with a pork knuckle, some vegetables, tofu, bamboo shoots.

Nice taste, the strong odors will stick to your clothes if you dine in the shop. The take away bento set are a lot cheaper.

A three star rating is generous given the way I felt about the food served but the staff members were pleasant and attentive which made this a par for the course experience. The namesake knuckle was tender and not salty which were both positives. However, the flavor was rather one dimensional. My taste buds could not detect any spice or even aroma of well crafted soy sauce in the knuckle. Occasionally I cook knuckles at home. While I am no chef, I would rather eat the ones I cook than the ones served here. If this place is not named as "King of Delicious Knuckles", I would not be as critical. So I was rather underwhelmed. My wife ordered a pork chop which I took a bite. It was way beyond well done which is not a positive. The flavor was also lacking. We ordered a Hemerocallis rib soup as it was one of my favorites growing up. Unfortunately the soup served lacked Hemerocallis flavor. That aside, the rib used did not bring out more favorable impression. The thin noodle and pork infused rice were both rather average.
