There are a few brick-and-mortar bookstores in Peking University. The price is not as good as online shopping, but it is quite convenient to buy stationery and magazines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crafts, stationary and miscellanea are varied for such a small shop, and everything is easy to browse (it can seem a little dark and stuffy in high summer). The selection of children's literature and activity books is impressive.
Shop is open until fairly late into the evening, and almost everyday, it's very convenient.
They carry little, now, in the way of native English language media beyond periodicals. The shopkeepers are friendly and helpful.
