★ ★ ★ ★ ★ staff were extremely helpful... and led us to where the book we were looking for wasn't... but they managed to lead us in the right direction... albeit, the wrong shelf... and when it was closing time, they were even quicker to tell us where the door was...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiting too long for next door? They really need to re-arrange their first floor with international books and magazines, so that tourists can find more interesting things to do while waiting for the famous ciao-long-bao!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere, survived under attacks from both e-books and Eslite. Although it doesn't offer a wide selection of English books, its size can still keep you from getting bored. I recommended my foreign friends here several times.
Ground floor : new arrivals, English books(although only a shelf worth of them, and most of which novels), and interesting little stuffs(that are not books).
Second floor : Fiction, Chinese novels, mysteries, travel(including maps).
Third floor : some computer books, and other genre.
Fourth floor : pens, paper tapes, papers, and other things.
Fifth floor is for special occasions, and there's a toilet, although it's normally off limits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little (5-storey) bookstore next to the famous Din Tai Fung Xinyi restaurant. Lots of Chinese & English books, toys with ShareTea right on level 1. Beautiful decor & music. Good service.
