★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came about 2 weeks ago because I needed quality photos to apply for an ARC. The photo booth at the MRT station was poor quality because it printed out with faded sepia tones. With my beginner level Chinese, I asked the gentleman what the cost was and what time I can pick up the photos. He said 2:00 so I said ok even though I preferred to have it sooner. He took about 5 shots and asked which photo I wanted. I told him I did not like it since I had to tuck my hair behind my ears (per Taiwan ID requirements) resulting in my chubby face on full display. The photographer said he would help me tweak the photo a bit, which I was grateful for. ? I then bribed him with an extra $100 NT and asked if I could have it sooner and he said half hour. Overall, it was a good experience considering we were able to communicate to one another with my broken Chinese and his broken English. Best of all, he gave me a product I was satisfied with, even if it needed a little “help.”
