I have never thought that such a primitive mountain settlement has such a majestic cathedral. Although I am not a Christian, I still feel immense respect for this mountain faith center.

I drove by and thought the flowers were blooming beautifully, so I stopped to appreciate it. It was only later that I found out that it was Citiwood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s the birthplace of Christianity in the region. One of the very first churches in Taiwan dating back to the 1860’s. The family that donated the land back then to build the church prospered with a family tree of 800+ people after 8 generations, including me.
