Korean Mission in Taipei

Really rude and arrogant staff. Not at all interested to respond. When we asked tourist visa information to a male officer, his response is like we are asking his property. Hate to visit this place.

Almost everyone had same experience as me after seeing below reviews. The way the person sitting in the counter talks is very rude. If you don't want to respond then change your job. Attitude is very bad.

I think all of us know that the staffs here are very rude. But I did not expect that they will be this worse. Me and my friend try to travel to Korea but we can not speak and read Chinese very well. They did not wish to assist us, instead they asked us to read all of the requirement to make visa by ourselves in the website by someone who can read chinese. After we collect the information by asking around, we aldy booked all the flight tickets and accommodation to fulfil the requirement. Well, it turns out on the day we submit everything they said we can not make our visa due to we are foreigners who do not stay in taiwan more than 1 year. And she does not care about anything we did and only wish we could get out from her sight without even apologize. I really wish all of you do not make any visa or anything in this embassy, cause they really do not care of anything. I don't even know why they hire a lot of RUDE PEOPLE HERE. I don't think this office should be called embassy at all. They really make a very BAD IMPRESSION OF KOREAN

I don't know why the other reviews are so bad. I only had the second of two parts of a visa to get so maybe I needed less help than the other people here. The lady was friendly and spoke good English. I was in and out in 10 minutes.

So the Visa section Chinese woman is really arrogant and have absolutely no knowledge about her job. Because of her irresponsibility and lack of knowledge I needed to cancel my Visa application. I was supposed to go for my next destination so I didn't have time to wait another 2 weeks. She's not only arrogant and rude but also she treathened me that I may not get my Visa on next application because I withdrew my application this time. Even though it was 100% her fault. So apparently I'm a suspect now because I lost my previous passport with my Visa. I will file a complaint to Ministry of Justice in Korea, immigration section because people shouldn't be in harmed because some civil servants are suck at their job.

Visa application staff was unbelievably bad. Amazingly bad service and the rudest visa application experience I've ever had. I applied visas for 2 people, and when 1 was rejected, the lady almost didn't refund us the application fee. The next person in line even brought his Taiwanese superior to sort a business visa out and they were also extremely unhappy. If you need a visa to go to Korea, I would consider cancelling the whole trip and changing your destination, because of how unpleasant applying for the visa is. I will never go back again to Korea if I need to apply for another visa to visit.

Everything is going smoothly They even have a printer(cost 2nt) and photo box The staff(two ladies) are very polite and friendly too The lady who service me is full of smile, and politely told me what documents I need to give her Based on the negative reviews maybe its because the other staff attitude But for me this is one of the best embassy I ever visited

Before going for applying South Korea visa, I was scared because of so many negative reviews regarding the rude behaviour of lady at desk. I was nervous because I had made all the reservations in advance. Once I visited there, I found the lady very helpful and speaks good English. She asked for one document which I had saved in my phone. She simply checked the electronic copy and agreed. Overall, I had a pleasant experience of applying visa.
