1. This is a small mini community park next to the forest side train station. Of course, such a small park is not worth a special trip to visit, but if you do in-depth tourism in combination with the nearby forest edge local attractions, you can consider including it and stay for about a quarter of an hour.
2. If you want to know the origin of the name of Ku Ning Lao, you must go to the park to take a look at these two commentary cards. It turns out that Kupi is not literally inferred, thinking it refers to the hard work of the railway workers, but the direct Chinese translation of the Japanese pronunciation, which describes their outstanding craftsmanship.
3. A five-point car was displayed at the scene, and some tourists like to take pictures here, but personally think this is a big failure. Since Linbian Station was opened to traffic, it has driven vehicles with the usual gauge of the Taiwan Railways. It has never been driven like a sugar factory or a five-minute forest service.

Kupiliao Park is located next to the Linbian Railway Station. The small and beautiful park has verdant trees, intertwined old trees, wide lawns, creative paintings, installation art, and various nostalgic objects (old locomotives, ancient agricultural tools). , Old railroad tracks...), the atmosphere is simple and quiet, which is a good place for people to take a rest and take a walk. Dating back to the Japanese Occupation era, Kupi Lao was a place where railway kungfu (skills) workers rested, placed tools and dispatched workers to work. The original Japanese sound of Kupi means Kung Fu (skills), but when translated into Hokkien it became "kupi". "It has been in use ever since. The establishment of Kupiliao Park can be said to have gone through hardships. It was rebuilt after being bombed during World War II in the Republic of China in 34. After the opening of the southbound railway, the workshop staff were transferred to the newly built office. Kupiliao became empty. Due to the lack of maintenance for many years, the guidance Until the building is weathered and decayed and turned into a garbage dump. Fortunately, in 1988, the township office issued a letter agreeing to Renhe Village to adopt the site. The villagers cooperated with the planning of historic sites experts, worked together to maintain, preserved some of the historical buildings, and added some creative landscapes to create today's elegant and quiet "Kubiliao Park."

There is a mini-park in Renhe Village near the railway station, which is called "Kubiliao".
In the 29th year of the Republic of China, at the same time that the Linbian Post was built, two sunset-style wooden houses were also built on the north side: one for the post dormitory, and the other for the bitch.
During the Japanese Occupation era, the passenger service staff at the station were called "postpo", and the railway workers called "kupi". The word "kupi" was translated from the Japanese pronunciation (カンフー) into Hokkien, and the original Japanese sound was Kung Fu. (Skills) means to provide a house for the scumbags to send workers to work, store tools, and rest.
The people all call it "Ku Ni Liao," while the railway bureau calls it "Dao Ban Gong Fang."
In 1949, a U.S. B-29 bomber dropped a bomb at the Linbian Railway Station. One of the bombs directly hit Kubi Lao, but Kubi Lao, who was razed to the ground by the bomb, was rebuilt and used until the opening of the Nanhui Railway. Because the Taoist classes moved to a new cement office, the Kupi Lao slowly corroded and decayed due to lack of maintenance, and the surrounding environment became dirty and desolate, and people gradually became alienated from the Kupi Lao.

927 No. 33 Ren'ai Road, Linbian Township, Pingtung County (This is the address of Linbian Station, walk to the left when facing the station, you will see Kuantiaoliao about 200 meters away)
Most people don't understand why this place is called Kualiao? In fact, bitterness refers to railway workers. Kung fu (skills) from Japanese. It is like bitterness in Taiwanese, so it is called bitterness. At the beginning, Linbian Inn built a dormitory and a Daoban workshop on the north side of the station in order to promote the station affairs. This workshop was called Kuantiaoliao. The earliest Kuyaoliao was bombed in the war, and it was used until the relocation of Daoban after reconstruction. It was abandoned afterwards, and it was converted into a lovely Kuyagliao Park, also known as Railway Good Neighborly Park, with the help of volunteers in Renhe Village. There are many lovely decorations in the park, and even the toilets are very cute, children will love it, and you can take a trip to the forest.

It was originally the workhouse of the station staff, and combined with local people and staff, it has been turned into a local park with unique characteristics. Small in size, walking distance to Woodside Station and local market. When you come to the forest, you can not only eat seafood, but also come here for a stroll.
