★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very accessible, just 15 to 20 minutes trek down the waterfalls, the water is nice, it's not that big but enough to give you fun, jumping and diving are the most common activities I've from all the people who there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great place to visit. I give one star only to let visitors be informed: This waterfall is dangerous, please don't dive here. A young college kid drowned in the pool earlier today (2020 August 23). The government put a sign to warn visitors but few would follow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We Visited Kuhua waterfall during Chinese New Year. Nobody was there at that time. Water is very cold. Aviod going on rainy day or season. And don't take you car, as per Google, Should stop at least 1 km, before Google destination. Wear proper non slippery shoes. And if you want to take bath, also bring proper beach shoes or river hiking shoes. Otherwise very slippery inside water and can hurt your feet. Gate is normally closed. Enter from right side from Gate, where the red sign board fixed. No Easy and proper way to reach waterfall.

Trail on opposite bank gives safe access to pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden place, small pond on the river with a waterfall feeding it from above, great on a hot day. The water is super cold and clean. Now, how do you get there? It's a very dangerous and tedious hike on a slippery path, with crossing a stream, choice of shoes is very tricky, you will get your trainers soaked, OR twist an ankle in sandals, barefoot is somehow risky as you go past a property with random glass, rubbish, barb wire and other metal objects sticking out of the ground. My advice don't go if you're not very good climber, steady on your feet. One false move and you can go tumbling down into stones, bushes and beyond. Sometimes instagram pictures are not worth the risk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best place to cliff jump in mid-west part of Taiwan, really beautiful waterfall with a good, big and deep pond beneath it. The approach to the waterfall is only less than 20 mins despite some steep area. If you are looking for a place to jump and swim near Miaoli and Taichung, this is the place.
