Best Italian restaurant in Taiwan

Their bistecca was delicious (although portion is quite small which seems odd given Bistecca di Florentina is always really big). Burrata could be better (the cheese itself wasn't as good compared to other good Italian restaurants in Taipei).

Clams spaghetti had generously sized clams, but spaghetti was on the harder side, good for people who like chewy stuff, but just not for me. Risotto was also on the chewy side as well. Portions were bit small, but made up by the super friendly and attentive staff which had 5 star service. At this price point, I would rather go with the tops like La Piola or Osteria Rialto.

The chef-owner is from the Piemonte region of Italy, and the menu reflects the delicious, diverse flavors of this particular region. To complement the cuisine is a very good and reasonably priced wine list, and a newly remodeled space, with soft, natural colors, textures and lighting. I really feel at home here. I honestly have never ordered from the menu directly, rather just let the chef know what I feel like eating and my appetite, and am thus presented with a bespoke meal that is always satisfying.

I’d definitely love to come back to eat and drink.

A great place for a date, a special day, or hanging with friends. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. His food is more than delicious, they are works of art. We love it here!! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

However, it will be much better if more choices were available. The dishes were quite delicious with traditional tastes of Italian style, but with slight modifications to fit the normal taste of Taiwaners. The price was a little bit high, but appeared reasonable for the quality.

I love everything. Especially the tomino cheese and patata gnocchi. Nice and friendly staff. Very attentive! Outstanding and much love! Grazie mille per vostra splendida cucina!
