Not good. Overrated. Location: hidden in the corner of some building and behind some trees. Service: slow, it took 20 minutes for us to get our drinks. Just our drinks! Food: ordered the seafood pasta. I think the seafood was undercooked or not fresh. Had that seafood ocean stench and sogginess to it. And the pasta was a bit on the hard side. The meal was nothing special. Price: expensive. I've had better pasta at prices way lower than this restaurant. Atmosphere: Supposedly upscale but it's not. Plays noisy pop music that are a couple of years old.

Good food and good service. I tried seafood noodle and my friend had a beef noodles. After finishing noodles, I also recommend pineapple and plum smoothie.

Cream of truffle pappardelle and pork cheek salad were delicious!! Comfortable seating area. English menu available

Very nice place for food. They offer tea, lunch and dinner. Good for hanging out, small talks and relax. Very popular so might be full during weekdays lunch time. Advised to make reservations for big groups.

My experience was disappointed to say the least. I felt so empty inside afterwards…like they ripped me off! Using the Name La One is such a disgrace to the reputation to the first store,I feel sorry for the people who worked hard to build this name up. To be thrown away like this for there second opening?️ Food: It felt like something I can find for $100~$200 anywhere outside. I ordered 5 different meals, all tasted bland and flavorless. Customer service: After we told them the food wasn’t as good as we hoped it to be, one of the female servants with glasses told us; we can enjoy our food somewhere else.

Was here few years ago, bad experience. But it was great this time. French toast was much much better :soft and soaked with egg well. Mango jam was unique and yummy, you can taste the mango cubes!!! And the side bread was the best of all!!!!

Usually, I'm reluctant to try a French/Italian/American restaurant by a Taiwanese chef.... After reading the reviews, I decided to give Chef Chien' s La One a try. Looking at the menu, I wasn't sure how to make of it. French, Italian, Taiwanese? Decided to order duck, and pasta. Services were ok for a cafe. Not exactly a fancy restaurant, so, I only expect a cafe level of services. Vegetable lasagna was good, pretty authentic. However there were only a total of 3 layers of lasagna pasta which lost the right texture it should have. Would love to see at least one or two more layers. Confit duck leg was great. Crispy skin, tender meat. Simply wonderful. Highly recommended. Orange confit matcha cake, was well made, but the matcha flavor wasn't the best, unfortunately. Vanilla pistachio raspberry cake was very good, light, and great texture. Overall, a very good cafe.

Good brunch with reasonable price. I had a classic breakfast. I like their brunch, fresh juice and latte. Their business is good, make a reservation before you come, it will be better.
