French named restaurant with a majority of Italian/Mediterranean dishes, serving everything from pasta, gnocchi to lamb chops. Trying to assume the role of a high class restaurant, but not reaching it just yet. Space and interior design are good for family and friends gathering. Staffs are friendly and welcome. We had a salad, basket of bread and pasta. All dishes are tasty and fresh, but a bit pricy in Kaohsiung. Will come back for special occasions.

This is one of the nicest places you can go to in Kaohsiung to truly have that feeling of luxury. Service wise it's a 360 degrees experience. Everyone inside are very polite and friendly although staff are not so fluent in English they make it up with a big smile and a tender treatment. Food wise, expect the food to be gourmet like with smaller portions at a higher price; however, the quality is really high and even the cutlery and dishware have been carefully picked so that they match with dishes look and taste. Like I said La One is that kind of a place where either a business meal or a date will come to fruition.

I really wanted to try the restaurant but when I got there at around 11:30am they told me that they were already all booked for lunch time. The place has a nice modern and clean ambient. The bakery was on the first floor, while the restaurant is on the second floor. I stopped by the bakery anyways and bought a dry blueberry with cream cheese bread and liked it. They have a mix of western and eastern style/flavour breads. They also sell some canned foods, dry meats and cheese. Maybe I'll get to try their restaurant next time!

An elegant restaurant with a fare price. Meal is served with a bit big portion, recommended to order and then sharing. Soups and Salad are nice and suggested. Kitchen is open with glass, guests can observe how chefs made their meal. A bakery is located in ground floor, can grab some before leaving.

Fresh sea food! I preferred their sea food dishes more than meat. Appetizers and desserts were good as well!

With little to no crowd it was a excellent experience. Short version: excellent service, amazing food, excellent atmosphere. Also little to no crowd allowed us to enjoy ourselves.
