★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not worth $250 for such a plain bowl of beef noodles. the soup was bland, nothing special; the beef, average; and where's the garnish? there was probably a stingy pinch of green onions, that's it. I've had so much better for half the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good beef noodle soup, if a little lacking in flavour. Both beef and tendon are cooked well, with a little bite still evident in the noodles. If you're in the mood for a "light" broth soup, then pay a visit to Lao Tzang Beef Noodles - family friendly, decent value, and with a casual atmosphere to boot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a very good beef noodle place, though I would very much hesitate to give it the best beef noodle place title. The broth is not oily, which merits a star, the beef is tender, which merits another star. the noodles is nothing special, which gives it 0 stars either way, there was no crowd at 2pm on a Saturday, which gives it another star, and the service was quick, and that's another star. Price is super high for Taiwan (cheap if you come from the US, but that's a poor comparison), so minus 1 star.
Total 3 stars, it doesn't blow me away, but it also didn't turn me away. If i had to wait 2 hours for this, i would have taken out another star, so conclusion, decent to try ONCE (too expensive), but don't come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfy good beef noodle. The beef is well cooked n the tendons soft to the right texture. Good and clean.. the noodles is "Q" chewy aldante. Must come as not much crowd. Popular with locals and celebs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They offer 3 kinds of soup base: double boiled beef soup, tomato beef soup and spicy beef soup. Tastes good but not outstanding. Beef tendon and beef shank are perfectly cooked. Still worth a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only complaint is: I wish we got more meat. We ordered two sets of half meat half tendon. Delicious and tender. But it only a few pieces is each and we ended up having a disproportionate amount of noodles left. By the way, the noodles are cooked perfect. And the soups are tasty as heck. Just more meat die these carnivores please. Thank you for the good service and wonderful experience. We’ll be back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent beef noodle soup. Hearty and flavorful broth. I ordered the half meat half tendon in the spicy broth. It wasn't too spicy at all. The meat itself was ok. Cooked really tender but flavor is slightly lacking. The noodles were ok. The side dishes need some improvement. The pickled mustard greens were not sour at all. The sour green beans were not sour at all either. For the price of the noodles i would expect better bowl of noodles and side dishes.
