★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is quite the experience! Never really had this authentic European food in Asia before. Definitely worth it and even if you are put off by the looks or prices, don't let yourself be fooled - this is the best way to enjoy Frenchness in Taipei!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've exhausted the menu and loved every visit to this hidden gem since it was a hole in the wall off Yongkang Street. It's a joy in itself to watch how much the generous owner/chef loves what he does, running the place all by himself with passion, affection and precision! It elevates the dining experience from mere pleasure on the taste buds to full-body happiness.
Food here is beyond amazing at a price range which sometimes makes me feel that I rip the man off. A gallet or crêpe big enough for two for about NT$200, a set consisting of pumpkin soup, lasagna and crème brûlée's for NT$150, and a whole bottle of good quality wine for NT$350-600!
If you lack patience or think wabi-sabi is wet, please don't go to his humble place. You aren't able to recognise paradise in disguise even if you're right in the centre of it. Leave the limited space to those who appreciate it wholeheartedly, and we'll thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small joint, but good food. I had the chicken lasagna set lunch. The soup was excellent. The lasagna, for my taste, was a tad too cheesy, but nonetheless very tasty. Dessert was crème brulé. I had to fight off temptation just to allow myself only half of it (sugar is sugar, even when well presented!). In short, i will definitely visit this place again.

But their lasagna is delicious to disregard any of them.
Must try beef lasagna!
Also! Crème brûlée is the MUST! So creamy and delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lasagna was ok. I had the chicken one, which was with cream sauce, and my friend had the beef one, which was with red sauce. There were too much black pepper in the soup and on the lasagna, which is why I gave four stars.
However! The crème brûlée was amazing! Can’t get enough of it. I might come back to get some more desserts!
