S	Selçuk Estel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My lovely wife took me here for my bday and I had some concerns after reading the other reviews and having experienced disappointing hotel buffets in Taipei, but boy was I wrong. This place is awesome. service is polite, attentive but not intrusive. Variety of food is amazing. Beef steak you can ask how well you want, so juicy and delicious. Soups are so fulfilling with either asian or european type. sea food, oh the sea food, from sushi to lobster to crab and shrimp all are fresh and you can taste the quality :) desserts are abundant from cookies to crepes or variety of cakes with a great coffee machine. pizza is thin and delicious, deep fried tempura section is amazing too and not too greasy. beverages are refreshing and my favorite was watermelon juice, though orange juice was not fresh but concentrated. overall, the best buffet experience I have ever had in the last 5 years, thanks to wifey <3
V	Vivian S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really like this hotel buffet in the Le Meridien. We tried the afternoon tea from 3-5pm and the food was wonderful. Things to note are the shrimp tempura (be patient and it will appear), pumpkin chowder, creme brulee, and all the grilled stuff like chicken, pork and flat iron steak. The sashimi was buffet quality so I would probably skip it next time. I got the crab thing but it looked very daunting so I just had it sitting on my plate before they took it away. The mussels were no good also. Other than that, it was very enjoyable. There was asahi draft best and kirin canned beer. Although Marriott is contracted with pepsi, thank goodness they had coke also along with pepsi products. Huge line for coffee at the end of the afternoon tea do I didn't try that. The food was so good I didn't even bother having the haagen daz ice cream. Would return for dinner or lunch!!
H	Happyhare Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive high end buffet restaurant. In Taipei there are many buffet restaurants selection. Many with lower cost but almost the same course selection. More expensive ingredients definitely is offered here. Such as abalone, Wagyu beef and fresh crab. However I find my tastebuds only content. Perhaps my expectation was too high. The restaurant is definitely one of the best I have visited of the same category. I like the layout in general. Service is as expected, nothing exceptional. With a little more effort from the chefs I believe this restaurant can become my favorite. A petite incident occurred during our lunch. A small worm visited us from the salad vegetable. We didn't alarm the staffs. We assume that the vegetables were fresh and grown without pesticides. I guess that's a good thing right? Would I return, yes. I might have higher expectation for my next visit.

One can have freshly grilled or pan fried steak prepared by the cook in front of you. There are also sashimi, pizza, salad, oysters, beef soup, grilled chicken thighs, so many different food. The quality and taste of food is pretty nice!
G	G H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Originally we wanted to have breakfast at Sherwood Hotel. Unfortunately it is not open for non in-house guests during CNY this year. And we had good experience for lunch and dinner at Latest Recipe before. So we decided to try their breakfast. Well, it wasn't as good as we expected. For the price we paid (NT890+10%) and options we had, (6 sections opened and 3 sections closed), it was kind of disappointing. Not recommended.
O	Otto Lai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High class buffet restaurant inside Le Méridien hotel located at heart of Taipei city Xinyi district. The food quality is superb and service is great, fresh seafood selections and a wide ranges of hot food and dessert for you to enjoy. Dessert-wise I loved their chocolate cake, it's bitter sweet, like a love hate relationship that you don't know what you should do with it. But luckily for this cake, you just have to eat to end it and say you final farewell tomorrow before you flush it. If you cannot get enough of it, simply just get another piece.
j	jenny hsueh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To sum up, it’s just ordinary. I have afternoon meal for today. The roast beef is chewy and dry, salmon sashimis’ quality aren’t good. But the pizza is AWESOME!!! It’s really surprised me!!! If someday I come back, definitely for the pizza. And desserts are nothing special, originally I expected their desserts, however, just ordinary.
