Good service and clear introductions on a variety of perfumes. I would definitely come back again.

Called and asked direction. The staff wanted me to Goolgled it coz he doesn’t know how to direct me to the shop from Eslite Spectrum. When I got there, the shop didn’t have any candles in stock. Gotta say it’s pretty pathetic. I’ve been to several overseas shops and never had bad experiences before tonight. Worst LE LABO shop I have been to.

I have had the experience to visit their shop in Tokyo and I would say Tokyo was better. The whole atmosphere and ambience just couldn’t compare. Now I get it why people write harsh reviews of their experience here. I bought one perfume at the Tokyo store, they were way more professional and explain their scented notes in much clearer way. From my experience in Taipei, the other younger male clerk doesn’t seem to be too care to show me the label on the bottle before he sealed the box. Not sure if I would come again.

All scents had their distinctive characteristics, not limited to the ones that are already more popular than the others like Santal 33 or the Noir 29. And just like the overall ambience of the fragrance house, there was nothing too aggressive about these fragrances in terms of the sillage or how they project. The display was a minimalistic tone-down style with a bit of industrial vibe. The space was a bit narrow to sample all fragrances so it’s recommended to go outside to the patio to freshen up before sampling more. Service was good with friendly staff. Will visit again in September for the city exclusives.

Very poor service attitude out of nowhere. Female shorthair staff appeared very bored and bothered when asked questions about a perfume.

A nice simple spot to grab premium, unique, gender-neutral scents. Unfortunately this is one of the Le Labo stores that cannot make their scents in the shop (meaning no discounted refills, and limited stock levels). The customer service here is hit or miss, but I think that might primarily come from differing levels of comfortability with english-speaking levels. I was served by Sandy, and she was by far the most patient and helpful. I grabbed the Tonka 25 and have been pleased with my purchase (it's still lasting me a year later, still smells and stays throughout the evening). One thing my mate noticed was that they’re always willing to give their opinions about the scents based on like what they think would be a good match. They're a no bull cr*p team. The ambience of this store is something different as well. Music is being played and it helps fill the room which can other wise seem a little sparse. Hopefully construction next door has finished as it was quite loud when I visited (but beyond the store's control). Taipei's fragrance scene is quite competitive but the store still does well to stand on its own, and I'd recommend for anyone that is interested in unique fragrances.
