Leofoo Village Theme Park - Hsinchu County

They offer a huge discount for girls/boys that come wearing a school uniform (only a dress or skirt will do regardless of gender). If the skirt is short enough, with at least 10 cm above the knees, the kids also get a free photoshoot. Quite disgusting, I hope the patrons consider it twice before visiting a place that is so blatantly sexualising children. I wonder how many tickets they sold to adults that went there to watch kids in skimpy clothes.

We visited during the American school winter holiday on a Wednesday and the park was virtually abandoned. Whereas in the U.S. theme parks close down in the winter, this is not the case in Taiwan. Most rides had no one riding at all and were turned on just for us. We were able to ride our favorite rides over and over and were able to cover everything in the park that wasn't under maintenance. Too cold to ride the water rides, but they looked fun. Expansive wildlife park you can view via a slow train ride. A detailed commentary on the animals is provided but only in Chinese. Very limited food options as most shops were closed down. The deli was open, which was adequate, and the fried chicken kiosk was open only during lunch time. I bought tickets in advance on KKday for a nice discount. Although we felt smart for going on such a slow day, the atmosphere was a bit depressing with no one else around! We drove, but there is a bus that goes directly to the park from the Hsinchu HSR station and several taxis were standing by outside the gate. Signage in the park had English in addition to Chinese. Food prices are slightly higher than typical Taiwan prices. My son also commented that the park was laid out exactly like Disneyland in California, and the themes were strikingly similar.

the best amusement park I have ever visited. I really enjoy the rides and the mini zoo. so many rides that are so thrilling and really pump up your adrenaline. You can take a bus to get around to see lions and bears. there are also many restaurant choices. in the afternoon, you can watch a mini fountain show in the front yard.

the amusement park design is so impressive, unfortunately it was rainy day when i went there, and many ride was under development. So we could only enjoy few rides. But overall it was very nice experience

Honestly it’s a great park with a combination of theme park and zoo. Quality of rides and design are very international. Only problem is on weekdays there are only 2 restaurants open in the entire park. Took us an hour to find something to eat. I suppose during Covid with lower than expected visitors they had to conserve.

It’s big and good place for friends to hang out. There are 3 rides were still under maintenance when we visited there.

Fanstatic and spacious... due to restrictions some performance we didn't get to see as indoors have limitations of 50 people only. But rides, we got to go on and wasn't too long for the wait. Nice place to bring the kids for a day as there are quite many things to do.

This park is quite unique, being on such a large area and bringing so many entertaining activities. Unfortunately, if you go with your children on weekends or on public holidays, it gets very crowded. In the early hours, it is still manageable but soon the waiting line can be over 50 minutes at the most popular attractions. Still, it's worth a first visit and even worth revisiting but If you can choose a sunny weekday (and avoiding windy winter days), it will be very enjoyable and totally worth the 1000 TWD adult entrance ticket. On the contrary, arrive early and look for discounted or package tickets to dampen the feeling of disappointment (but you kids will love it anyway !).
