Cons: The soup was below par. The salad was overdressed, small, and served in odd glasses. The dessert tasted store bought.
The place needs to be remodelled. The linen is old and the atmosphere is not attractive. If they renovate, it'll be much livelier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Straight forward menu of set meals, soup, appetizer, bread main course and desert and very good coffee or tea. Very reasonably priced and the service is top notch in newly renovated surroundings.
I had a beautiful fish main that was a perfectly cooked white meaty fish. The skin was crispy delicious and the inside of the fish steak was perfectly cooked, moist, tender and delicious.
The smoked Norwegian salmon appetizer was delicious too as was the soup. Portions were perfectly sized.
My companions had a beautifully cooked steak and excellent crispy pork leg perfectly cooked. The pork came with a side of sauerkraut that I will go back for !
All in all an excellent restaurant on all accounts and definitely on my "A" list of places to eat in Taipei.

All dishes with great quality. I strongly recommend Schweinshaxe, it’s really yum and big. Steak and salmon are also yum, but the size of them are a bit small.
There are two booths in the restaurant, one is for 6 people, another one is for 10 people. Therefore, it’s a great place for family or friends to celebrate something together.
BTW, there is no minimum order here. Staff are friendly. We really had a great time here.
