Tickets are required, but for the maintenance of monuments, it can be regarded as a contribution to cultural preservation. The former residence basically retains the pattern of the Japanese era, without laying the tatami (stacked) at that time, and lacking pure Japanese flavor. But can understand Liang Shiqiu's life and contribution, and feel the breath of the following youth.

Built in 1933, the address was "204 Guting Ding" during the Japanese colonial period. It was originally the dormitory of Yoshisuke Tomita, an English professor at Taipei High School. After the restoration, it was restructured into the staff dormitory of the Provincial Normal College, which was successively moved in by Zhang Rulin, Liang Shiqiu, Ning Zhu and others. Liang Shiqiu moved into the house in 1952 and moved out in January 1959. The building area is 30 square meters and the building is The typical central corridor type of housing, the original middle class imitated the upper-class housing "Japanese and Western Second Building" form, the use of harmony and foreign eclectic layout in the internal space. One of its characteristics is the western-style reception space, such as the entrance and the reception room, and the traditional Japanese-style interior space, such as the seating area, the bedroom and the tea room, the cooking place, the entrance, the bathroom and other service spaces. Part of it, in the courtyard of the current site, there is a huge, towering bread tree propping up the green shade to shelter the old house from wind and rain, occasionally a breeze blows, bending the branches and leaves, and the sound of the wind. Go, the wind has been violent for a few times, and it will not be a year old. Mo sigh there is nowhere to find the old house, there are still bread trees in the corner. The sky is lost, eyes are leaning against the building, and there are countless green eyes outside the building. The past is like smoke like catkins, lovesickness is always here in spring,

Located in a Japanese-style building near the Normal University, walking in the alleys seems to be walking in the Yashe sketches.

If you're interested in learning about Liang Shih-chiu, who developed an English program from 師範大學, it's a nice place to learn a bit of history. The house itself isn't big, but well maintained. It's not as interesting if you cannot understand or read Chinese.
