★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really love this night market, but WARNING my friends, it is only a very short street with limited number of vendors and stores.
I go there most often for the sweet tofu (douhua) with a variety of their handmade toppings. They serve it iced all year long and the option of hot in the winter. There are several ice vendors, so I've attached a picture with the review for identification.
I also like the Hokkaido squid soup that can be served with or without noodles to be more filling. It's savory with a peppery kick.
I also like the oden place with endless soup. In the winter, you can have some sake with your oden. The place also has traditional noodle soup as well as great small cold side dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The nigth market is small... Although they have a good Korean bar/restaurant... So if you want cheap food or something more exotic you can find it her... I ended up eating cuttlefish sausage. No stalls on the road... So this is a small one... Not the usuall nigth market...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walking distance from Brother Hotel. Not too lively. Not much variety of food. If you are curious of the night market and got nothing to do, you can check out this place. Food is just ok, standard, quite clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I knew when i walk over my chances of getting something to eat would be difficult. It was a very raining Sunday evening 6:30 to be exact. Like most places here in Taipei if business is not good for the day things close early. Don't get me wrong I would do the same, my point is if your new to the area (like I am) remember what you read as ready on google my not be the case... must be an amazing location during a pleasant evening.
