★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place the moment it opened for business. It was a quiet place with awkward seating. I'm giving it a zero because the owner was rude and told (and demanded) us we all had to order a drink each (this was before when he wrote it down on the menu, it wasn't stated anywhere in the store). This interaction made us vow to ourselves that we'd never come back. The coffee is overpriced, the atmosphere is pretentious. Just, UGH.
TL;DR: Hipster wannabe coffee you don't need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee is very nice, but I think the location and layout are the winning combination. It's a well shaded area for a hot day. The coffee has the mellowest flavor in my coffeeshop book - certainly a unique roast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I was actually amazed about the Espresso that Tony makes, the first time that I had it I felt like I was back in Italy. I have been searching for a good coffee and I found it! Perfect!!! Making a good coffee it is not easy, it has to have the right temperature (in order to do not burn the coffee), the right dosage of coffee and a good quality of coffee beans. The cappuccino? Absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place, this is a must go if you are in Taichung. Thanks Tony, you made me feel like was back in Italy ?, thanks again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a must go spot if you are in Taichung and love coffee. Tony the owner is super friendly and his coffee and pastries are some of the best I've had in Taiwan. Speaking about the pastries it's best to show up early as they tend to sell out early before the end of the day. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little place to sit and enjoy a coffee and a cake. Views from the bar are buffered by a patch of green which does a lot to minimise the city traffic. The coffee suits my tastes, though I only tried the caramel latte. Not overly sweet. Would come again for sure.
