We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liiko Hotel. Other than an issue with the WiFi which was quickly rectified the staff accommodated all of our needs. Very nice room and surroundings as well. An added bonus is the 302 bus for Taroko Gorge stops outside the hotel.

Very nice small hotel with friendly stuff. The bus 302 going to to Taroko Gorge is across the street and convenience stores are behind the corner. walking distance to train station. Free laundry, just ask at the reception. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Close to the entrance of the Taroko national park. A bus stop in front of the hotel. The bus travels between Tianxian 天祥 to xincheng train station 新城火車站 and back. The hotel has a nice lobby dining area and a very pretty garden in the back. The room size is adequate and clean. The breakfast selections are good. Lots of fried vegetables, rice, congee, yogurt, bread some cereals, soybean milk, coffee and tea.

Good reception and introduction of all facilities, also detail Tokoro Gorge places. Breakfast is perfect and taste good. You could have tea or drink anytime in the dinning area. In the bathroom, there is Allegrini brand shampoo, bath wash and body lotion FREE to use. You can purchase in the reception if you like. Clean and well prepared room. Recommend to everyone for this Hotel.

Really nice and friendly service. We have eaten three times in the restaurant and it was every time really good. Breakfast is a small buffet, you can choose between several cold and warm things (eggs, braised pork, rice, dumplings, toast, jam, (too small) selection of fruits, cereals, coffee and tea). The rooms were really nice, big and clean ! The offered us a second blanket. Nice view (asked for it) it is good for have a nice layover to go to taroko national park. To go to Hualien it takes 25 min.

The property looks new and is tastefully designed and decorated. We had the family room with a great view. We enjoyed having breakfast outdoor at the backyard with a nice grass garden. It is located along the major road that leads to Taroko Gorge and Qinsui cliff. The public bus that stops just about 20 m from the hotel will bring you about your activities in the gorge area. Do plan according to the bus timing as the frequency is about 1 hour or more.

For a smaller hotel, this place was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. The shower? O.M.G. Absolutely fantastic. Fire hose style water pressure, adjustable height that even I could get under, perfect temperature control. I could have spent hours in there. Great place to explore Taroko from.

Great place to stay. First, let's talk about the location. This was our first family trip to Hualien, so visiting Taroko was on the to do list. The hotel was only a short drive from the national park. If you didn't or don't want to drive, there's a bus stop right outside. Second, the convenient. Traveling with young kids means a lot of dirty laundry. Thankfully, there was a 24 hour laundry mat next door. And on the other side there was a Family Mart. I was able to do laundry and pick up a few things within minutes. Lastly, the hotel itself. The place was clean and quiet. The staff was extremely patient, nice, and professional. Any requests we had were met with a quick and courteous response. As vegetarians, finding options when traveling is never easy, but the hotel had a nice restaurant and vegetarian options. Overall, a great place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it. We'd come back.
