★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ling Tung is a local university in Taichung that is private with a variety of majors. Students come from all over Taiwan. There are some foreign students. There is a Chinese Language Center for students who want to study Chinese and will get a visa for you if you need one. Teacher and staff are caring in their attitude towards students and wish to prepare students for life after graduation. Classes are medium to small in size, usually anywhere from 20-50 in size. Instruction of course is in Mandarin. Chinese speaking locals in Taiwan who have college aged kids would probably like the school and should consider it for their kids or even themselves if seeking more education.
