★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good street food with some restaurants and other shops alongside the row of shops. Unlike the usual night markets here in Taiwan which offer minigames sometimes, this one entertains your stomach instead. There is even a very famous pork rice stall around the corner with a very long queue during dinner time that is very hard to miss.
Final note, be very careful as the streets of the night market aren't closed off so passing motorcycles will be seen passing by as you walk along the sides of the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! Had some grilled meat and veggies from 2 vendors. One was already prepared the other grilled the raw meat you pick. Picked up food for some others and there was not one complaint from a relatively picky crew.
It is actually 4 streets off of a 4 way intersection, I advise taking a walk down each one. Also, some things start shutting down at 2000 (8pm) but there is enough open after 2200 (10pm) to keep things enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here's the thing. Each night market has it's own personality and vibe. This one is more open to the street, it's not closed to major traffic like some of the others. It's a good market but navigate on scooter or bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice night market running down a few blocks on each side of the street. Good variety of food here, more local and less touristy than the main night markets. Don't miss the Temple set back behind the main dining space in the middle of the block.

Sushi, takoyaki, crepes, juice, tea, fried rice, and so many others with attainable price.
One minus point is that it is located between the roads so it is not too convenient to hunt around for food due to many vehicles and traffics.

This time I live in 85 tower building, grab some dinner from the nearest night market “ZigQiang”, there are many famous food, like 白糖粿, 南豐 Taiwanese pork rice, 厚德福, boba tea, fried chicken, etc. When I’m in Kaohsiung, I must go there for sure!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My visit of Ziqiang Night market was mostly not very pleasant. It is basically one straight street with a lot of local food vendors along both sides of the street but what makes it unpleasant is that the street is still open for motorbikes and scooters. The constant flow of hundreds of scooters and motorbikes is annoying and dangerous if you do not pay attention to them. The only good thing is that despite the focus on the traffic I still managed to get a box with a selection of good, fresh and cheap sushi and the nice vendor packed me even one piece more.
