★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The red bean paste pastry is delicious. It was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Great to go with a cup of hot tea. The other specialty is strawberry mochi. Strawberry is a bit sour to my liking but the mochi is soft and tasty. You can order the tasting set which comes with a red bean paste biscuit, strawberry mochi and hot tea for NT50.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s good but not sure about the hype
Mochi is chewy
Strawberry is sour (guess it’s good cuz not that much sugar coated?)
Red bean is not too sweet and the texture is smooth so I like it
Not sure if I’d pay $65 for it but it’s ok

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One the famous cake stores, very traditional and popular. Was lucky enough to buy the strawberry mochi and some other cakes, they change their menu during the season, so if you ever pass by around come over and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a strawberry mochi and a NT $50 set, which comes with a monaka and a cup of hot tea. The strawberry is very fresh, and the sweetness of the red bean paste is just the right amount. The mochi is sticky, stretchy, and extremely soft. The wafers of the monaka are warm and crispy. It goes perfectly with the hot tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and delicately made, Taiwanese take on the Japanese wagashi. Seems to be popular with the locals. Opens 9am during the Chinese New Year season. There are seats outside to enjoy what you picked. Strawberry mochi and dorayaki a must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strawberry mochi was the most delicious I never had. But a little bit pricey (NT$65). Very crowded on weekends.
