Liqi Weir

This clear and blue stream is Lixi Creek, one of the tributaries at the source of Zhuoshui Creek. Liqi Dam is located on the bank of Liqi Creek, a tributary of Zhuoshui Creek. The elevation is about 760 meters. It is a concrete gravity dam. Lixi Creek originates from the foothills of Ganzhuowan Mountain at 3,282 meters and Zhuoshe Mountain at 3,343 meters. The guide teacher said: Winter is a dry season, and this year there is insufficient rainfall, streams and riverbeds are covered with rocks, and summer typhoons strike but billowing floods. In the south of Legal Village (Wujie), it merges into the main stream of Zhuoshui Stream. The stream is about 12 kilometers long and has a drainage area of ​​47 square kilometers. There is also a stalactite (water wave stone, washed stone) on the road next to the Liqi River Dam. The dry season is dry in winter, but the rainy season in summer is also dripping. Put your head into the depression of the stalactite (water wave stone, washed stone), you can observe the stalactite up close (be careful to hit your head). Because the dripping water also dissolves many different minerals during crystallization, the stalactites here show a variety of colors. It can be called an open-air geology classroom, it is really a very valuable experience.
