Best Mexican food in Taipei!!!!

After finding this place on Deliveroo, I decided to stop by since it was two blocks from where I live. It was a hole in the wall carry out only shop with some cutsie pastry onbl display, probably aimed at the students from the elementary school across the street. I didn't have my hopes up very high, regretting I didn't order from Macho Taco instead. Since the food was made on the order, I had to patiently wait for my food to be ready. The proprietor was a friendly young lady who seem dedicated to her work so I couldn't criticize her. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I got my food and a few snacks and went home for my reward: a chicken salsa arepa, a chile con carne quesadilla, and a Thai 打拋 pork burrito. To my surprise, the quesadilla tasted exactly like what I would expect if it was from an American Mexican restaurant, the corn bread on the arepa tasted like a corn bread while the chicken and veggies tasted fresh and flavored just right. The 打拋 pork burrito is notv probably not something you can find in Thailand or Mexico but it tastes good. The portion size for each was appropriate for the price. I did have a couple of the desserts and they were good, too. So here is this hole in the wall place where the food is neither glamorous nor exotic but everything was just right. So much so I'm considering going back to get supper for tonight. That's what makes it worth the five stars. Keep up the good work!

Amazing Mexican food! Amazing price. Burritos and quesdillas are as good as anywhere in Taipei. Been here 3 days in a row.

Food is good, I ordered Tartar fish burrito, Guacamole chicken arepa, and chicken empanadas, all quite good. Good price point. Will come back to try more food for sure.

Nicely decorated, bright little restaurant. There's Latin music playing gently in the background. The owner is incredibly nice and speaks some Spanish as well! We ordered the chicken quesadillas, the guacamole chicken arepa, a mushroom onion empanada and a chicken cheese empanada. The quesadillas and the empanadas were wonderful, particularly the mushroom onion empanada. The guacamole gave the arepa a very touch. For a restaurant serving foreign food, the prices are reasonable, although we weren't quite full after our meal. But the cozy atmosphere, the great service, a surprisingly nice bathroom and the quality of the food make for a great experience!

This place is great. Really good South American food at great prices. The owner is super friendly, too :D
