★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車停在龍湖宮停車場，有階梯可下去走環湖步道，才剛開始種植南瓜（已經架設好長長的南瓜隧道）可惜連日下雨，今天陰天無法看到漂亮夕陽，待南瓜隧道形成再訪。
 The car is parked in the parking lot of Longhu Palace. There are stairs to go down the trail around the lake. I have just started planting pumpkins (a long pumpkin tunnel has been set up). Unfortunately, it has been raining for several days. Today, the beautiful sunset cannot be seen on a cloudy day. We will visit again when the pumpkin tunnel is formed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 龍昇湖就是大潭風景區，昔日為道卡斯族祖先居住地，是苗栗八景之一。佔地11公頃，水域寬廣，青山圍繞，景色怡人。臨近台一線，國道三號大山交流道，高鐵苗栗站，交通方便。環湖步道全長2.6公里，沿著湖伴而行，綠林夾道，湖面波光閃閃，水鳥飛翔。沿途有各式品種的南瓜綠龍隧道，每到盛產季節，瓜棚下結實纍纍，色彩豐富，令人大開眼界。再配合禪寺，廟宇，涼亭，觀景台和休閒廣場等設施，是散步休閒的好地方。
Longsheng Lake is the Dataan Scenic Area. It used to be the ancestral residence of the Daukas people and is one of the eight scenic spots in Miaoli. Covering an area of 11 hectares, the water area is wide, surrounded by green hills, and the scenery is pleasant. It is close to the first line of Taiwan, Dashan Interchange of National Highway No. 3, and Miaoli Station of the high-speed rail, with convenient transportation. The trail around the lake is 2.6 kilometers long. It walks along the lake, with green forests interspersed with the road, the lake surface is sparkling, and the water birds are flying. There are various kinds of pumpkin green dragon tunnels along the way. Every time the season is rich, the melon shed is full of fruits and colors, which is eye-opening. Combined with facilities such as Zen monasteries, temples, pavilions, observation decks and leisure squares, it is a good place for walking and leisure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is Serene and is nice for strolling and family picnics. There is a pumpkin patch during the pumpkin season so it is quite a feat. There are food and drink stalls where you can buy snacks and drinks. There is no ATM machine so make sure to bring money. There is no parking fee and entrance.
