The Longtan Flower-watching Trail and the Longtan Flower Sea (the location of the Flower Festival) are on the farmland on both sides of the Longtan Bicycle Path. The cosmos flowers planted by farmers in the fields are very beautiful.

Near Longtan Bicycle Trail, the scenery of the four seasons is clear. Occasionally I walk and feel that each season has its unique scenery. Now it is spring ploughing, and at dusk, the egrets gather in groups to follow the busy tractors for food.

The first stage of rice cultivation has many ears, thanks to the smooth water supply from Shimen Reservoir.

The Longtan Flower Appreciation Trail allows you to enjoy the whole green rice fields in summer. Close to autumn and winter, the fields are filled with sunflowers and cosmos during the fallow season, forming a sea of ​​flowers. Walking in the fields is not only the beautiful scenery. It's quite comfortable. For example, there are quite a lot of special landscaping and installation art to appreciate when you just encounter the festival. The trail is gentle and easy to walk throughout, but when you reach the back section, there are many forks in some sections of the road, and the signs are not clear, so you need to pay a little attention. The trails are surrounded by small country roads and there is little parking space. If you come by car, it is recommended to find a parking space on Xinlong Road, or rent a YouBike from Longtan Dachi to ride along the Longtan Dachi bicycle trail.

It’s a lovely country road. The flowers are not in full bloom in time and season, but there are full of golden ears of rice. I prefer the leisurely trails to the crowds to shoot the flowers in full bloom.
