★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to wander. Kaohsiung is amazing for its parklands. Didn't get to walk all the way around but some great things to see on the other side too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the tiger and dragon pagoda. It is believed You have to through dragon's mouth and exit out the tiger's mouth to get rid of bad luck and increase good luck. It has seven stories with beautiful circular stairway going up and you get beautiful view from top of the zigzag pathway. The whole inside of the pagodas allows you to follow stories about the buddhist characters. The dragons and paintings inside are very bright and colorful. The lotus pond is very pretty with a few beautiful walk corridor that leads out to the pond and bright pagodas waiting at the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice area for an evening walk. The place is small enough to be quickly visited on foot (Biking also possible) and contains it's fair share of attractions such as temples and pagodas and more temples... Most of those temples have different styles and different statues, it's worth checking them out.
The lake is clean and beautiful (you can easily see turtles inside), the place wasn't crowded at all when I went and it's really great for taking pictures and/or taking a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite a nice place to go alone or with your love ones. A lovely town that is different to the Kaohsiung city with so many people. You may enjoy cakes that are not expensive and stroll freely or cycling around the lake. You may rent a city bike here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very scenic and natural location to take pictures and sight see here. I started my day at this location and walked around the lotus pond which took me half a day's time. Visiting temples and enjoying local food. And ended my day looking at the sunset. Getting here u can take the mrt to Ecological District station and take a 10 to 15 mins walk by the park and cross over by the bicycle bridge.

Its all that others have said and more, we walked from the MRT a little way and others may prefer to take the bus. We had picnic on the quite side of the lake and watched model sail boats and enjoyed the colourful outlook across the lake. All the attractions are great as others have said, all worth the time to visit, even the wall at the top of the lake. When you done seeing the sights head to the South of the lake where there is a wire waterski system, find a seat and watch others exert themselves whilst you have a well earned rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely beautiful and scenic. There’s a bus stop right out front and several taxis for convenience. A nice modern 7-11 is plopped right in the middle of the entrance area so what more could you ask for! We would have stayed longer if it weren’t for the hot weather and that we had already been running around all day.
