About Louisa Coffee 路易莎咖啡-高雄新光店

Best Coffee shop in Taiwan

O	Owly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfy place with beautiful interior designs. Coffee is a better choice than milk tea.
J	Jerome Enriquez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to grab tea, coffee, snacks and breakfast. Prices are great and the service is efficient. They have a sitting area on the first floor and outdoors. Location is reachable from anywhere in the city centre.
T	Tina Pickford (Ting Ting 婷婷) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the peaceful atmosphere, enough space between tables, comfy seating upstairs and really good and reasonably priced coffee. Food selection is not huge but it's enough. I've only had the bagels (nt50 with choices of sweet or savoury fillings) but my friend had a sandwich (also about nt50) and it had lots of lettuce in it, which I feel is very special for Taiwan! The only problem is that the internet is very patchy and only certain seats have a decent internet vonnevtion. It makes it almost impossible to work or study here. Please fix the Internet and I will come often!

I assumed that this one would be the same, but unfortunately it was not. My latte tasted bad, made incorrectly (far too weak), and the hot panini I ordered came on slightly warm bread with the meat and ingredients inside very cold. There is a large seating area upstairs, but I do not recommend it for going to work, because there are only 2 electric sockets to plug in a laptop in the entire large area.

But the rule is they insist quite sternly in front of everyone that every customer must order something. So I felt quite embarrassed and obliged and they lost a star. I don’t mind if they put up a sign or tell me privately but felt embarrassed with they way they insist it. Perhaps they should just put a sign at their entrance to say so and gain back the star.
