★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 從登山口到鹿林山山頂，不會太難走，除了路過的鹿林山莊，個人覺得實在沒什麼看頭，不用特別前往。但是如果時間允許，倒是可以當作健身練腿力之用。
 It is not too difficult to walk from the mountain pass to the top of Lulin Mountain. Except for the Lulin Mountain Villa passing by, I personally feel that it is really not worth seeing, so there is no need to go there. But if time permits, it can be used for fitness training.

The path is small but easy to walk. There are coniferous forests along the way, which is rich in ecology.

Go up the mountain entrance all the way to reach Lulin Mountain Villa. However, there are relatively few parking spaces in the parking lot near the mountain entrance, which is a pity.

Along the 106.2K of the Alishan Highway at the Lulin Mountain hiking trail, climb the Lulin Mountain and Shun Yushan Forest Road to the Zhuang Paiyun Mountaineering Service Center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鹿林山步道剛開始一路陡上，但沿途景觀絕佳，算是親民的登山步道，又有百岳級的景觀，值得到訪。
The Lulin Mountain Trail is steep at the beginning, but the scenery along the way is excellent. It is a hiking trail that is close to the people, and has a landscape of Baiyue level, which is worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鹿林山的登山口並不明顯，開車沒有注意的話容易開過頭，登山口前有少許停車位可供停放，如果沒有位置就要到上東埔停車場或者塔塔加停車場停車，比較傳統的路線是從這邊開始起登到鹿林前山再接鹿林山，登山客可以視自己的體能狀況調配，這裡的路線好走，沿途都是針葉林鋪地跟一些步道，走起來會稍微有點喘，不過難度應該不算太高，沿途還有鹿林山莊，天文台等地標，這裡的天氣狀況不錯的話真的有媲美百岳的山景，是一座CP值相當高的步道，此登山口有小鹿的圍牆特色，也是算出來一個拍照的景點。

Saw a tour bus bringing all the local seniors here for a morning hike.
