★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If someone builds their business around grilled cheese I would expect to eat cheese. Instead we got soggy fried toasts dripping in what must've been sad remains of Kraft processed cheese packet. Came cautiously optimistic, left angry. Lemonade is good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it’s a grilled cheese sandwich and has sooooo little cheese ! From the name I would expect very cheesy but completely opposite .. I was starving so I should be happy with whatever I eat but I was not happy as I was still hungry ! Stingy business !!! Plus the pictures show the grilled cheese sandwich full of cheese and when I got mine was like so thin and poor.
I also got the banana bread to try but was so disappointed as it didn’t taste of banana (stingy again! Bananas are so cheap!) it tasted like brown sugar butter and cinnamon! So it should be called brown sugar and cinnamon slice lol ?
Would not recommend to anyone ! Will never go back again !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the toasted lemon bread! (The banana bread is quite good too!) you can get 3 slices for 100nt although that’s for cold slices to-go, but toasted with butter is 40nt a slice - and totally worth it! Oh and the owner is super nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In all fairness, seems like service has improved, and the quality of the sandwiches have left me greatly satisfied. As a huge fan of grilled cheese sandwiches, spotting this gem right next to my hotel has provided me with a convenient source of tasty food without long waiting times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited today with my wife for the first time. Very tasty grilled cheeses (normal and a ‘Cuban’ with chicken and ham). Plus two salads and two drinks, total NTD 300. Contrary to other reviews, I feel there was enough cheese. Our sandwiches were well balanced. Nice little western goodness here amongst all the other awesome Taiwanese food. Can recommend! Bo-ai Rd is a tad noisy, but manageable. Still pleasant today, despite 30+ temps, to eat and chat.
