History of Gangwei Shuntian Palace: This palace worships the Lord God Guan Shengdijun. During the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty, ancestors came to Taiwan from Lu'an County, Fujian Province, to escort to Taiwan to protect the village. The bamboo grass was first built as a temple for worship by the villagers. Later, the gods called the spirit, the divine prestige was prominent, and the villagers were blessed. During the Great Flood of the Twenty-Five Years (Guangxu twenty-four years), the temple was attacked. From then on, the gods threw the holy grail and worshiped the furnace in the main house of the furnace for worship by the villagers. Later, the believers lamented the inconvenience caused by the gods. In the 35th year of the Republic of China, Liao Qinglian initiated the reconstruction of the temple with the villagers at the current temple site, and was managed by Liao Laichuan. By the time of the 75th year of the typhoon by the powerful Wayne Typhoon, the original temple was unacceptable. With the furnace owner Li Congxian, he initiated a joint ceremony with the villagers to decide on the site of the current temple at Guan Shengdi ’s face. With the furnace owner, village chief Liao Chongxin, and villager representative Liao Bujia, Liao Laichuan, etc. Huang Daojiri was selected to start construction. Jiang Tielian was in charge of the site supervision. Yuzhong villagers worked together to rebuild the temple. All work went smoothly. The construction was completed on February 12, 1977 and the round temple ceremony was held. Although not known as the Church of St. gorgeous but as a solemn appearance, but the value of all the villagers to a small token of sincere heart, Zhao is open.
