★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The architecture was mesmerizing. Lots of tourists and vendors inside the temple which makes the place a bit too crowded. That being said, this is not a good place to visit in a time of the pandemic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Temple rich in history in close walking proximity to the Mengjia night market worthy a visit for both worshippers and tourist. Highlight for me though has to be the huge concentration of even more food stalls traditionally found set up right out front at the doorsteps any temple in Taiwan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my favourite place in all the stops we made in our short visit to Taipei. Welcoming environment, most ppl are very respectful as it's not only a place that tourists may stop but a temple for prayer and meditation. ??Come to do both and leave, filled with loved.
Be wary, although it's in the middle of the city, there noise is drawn out by high walls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most beautiful temple in Taiwan ❤️. Built in the 18 th century and rebuild many times after damage by earthquakes and typhoons. It's dedicated to bodhisattva of mercy, Guanyin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is a very good destination if you are new here in Taiwan or just visiting as a tourist. The people here are very friendly and welcoming, they house many deities who you can pray to, and the temple sells many types of lucky charms with a reasonable price. The facilities are clean and the view of the temple is serene, relaxes the mind and the heart.
If you go here with MRT, it's only 2~3 mins walk from the station, very nearby.
