The area of the night market encompasses Minsheng Rd., Minquan Rd., Gongyuan Rd., and Xingdong Rd. Apart from street food, there are also affordable clothing and shoe stores in Luodong Night Market, making it the perfect place for both shopping and eating in Luodong.
Due to the overwhelming crowds, a multi-story car park can be found next to the Luodong Night Market’s entrance.
Other parking lots are spread across the neighborhood of the market. Parts of the roads in the city are one-way roads, so do take note of the navigation on the road signs when driving to the market to avoid wrong-way driving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge night market in Yilan County that should satisfy experienced night market goers. Food options are plentiful and it's not difficult to keep up with the popular food stalls via a Google search. The usual night market shops with their wide variety of goods, ranging from clothes to accessories, phone casings, children apparel, foot wear, trendy bags, umbrellas, cosmetics, stickers & souvenirs etc.
Be prepared for crowds when visiting on weekend nights especially, and parking can be difficult if you happen to be on a self-drive holiday. Best way to find parking during peak hours is to park at multi-storey carpark at a nearby building that has shops in it. It's right next to the night market but located at the back, away from the front entrance of the night market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not crowded on Wednesday night (but on holidays and weekends, im sure it is) There are many food stalls open - try their scallion snack (bacon wrapped scallion, pancakes, bun etc), mutton soup, duck meat, fried century egg snack, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The night market is super lively with tourists and packed like sardines. We went around 7pm and it was crazy. Long lines for popular items. But honestly the food was not good. Tried several vendors and everything was disappointing. Not sure what's going on. Vendors seem to put any effort into quality of food and just making a buck or something because the quality of taste was very lacking.
People were lining up like mad for items that were quite ordinary tasting. Like green onions wrapped in beef and fried dumplings.
Anyways great to walk around but keep your food expectations very low because there's little attention to quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the green onion hot pocket from the woman at the corner. She uses the authentic yilan three star onions, while the other vendors use normal onions. The way to tell the difference is that the three star onions taste sweet while normal onions are a bit spicy
