★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty chill when there aren't any events on. You can ride grass sleds or paraglide, unfortunately paragliding was closed the day I visited due to winds. Be sure to preplan something to do if coming up here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area is really beautiful with the grass land and surrounding mountains. Really enjoyed coming to this part of Taiwan for the first time. The air and natural beauty is unique to this part of the island.
I came here with my family for the air balloon festival. You need to arrive here really early (6am) to make sure you can ride the balloon. Really amazing experience that my three year old son loved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hot air ballon festival in Taiwan is always held in this place, and the balloon riding ticket is always as hard buying as the concert of famous singer, luckily, I have the ticket for 2020, which means I could ride the hot air balloon this year. Upon arriving on site, the volunteers guide me to a awaiting tent, which is much closer to the hot air ballon flying field comparing to the audience areas located on the hill next to the flying filed, however, while it is about my turn to get on board, the instructor announce that the event is shut down due to the weather concerns, it is quite a disappointing news, the ticket I have need to be return and get my money back. But in the way, this unfortunate incident is a great luck, I am in the closest place to see the hot air balloons for free that other people could not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FANTASTIC place to go. kudos to Taiwan tourist management. I was worried if i had no transport down the place but guess what ? there is free buses to take people down to the town and train station ! I was so touched ! I was so lucky the day i went was the last day of the festival and the weather is good so they put pup the balloon beautifully ! once in a lifetime experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view and beautiful landscape but I personally prefer to go there when there is no hot air balloon festival because I don’t really like the crowd. It can be a good experience, though. Planning to go back on a quiet day to do paragliding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit, especially for the Hot Air Balloon Festival! We ended up driving here with a local and we have to leave around 4am to get here and get a spot for a view! Make sure to bring something to sit on and some food, as you'll be here for awhile! Definitely worth it to come out here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came on Early April for paragliding but the wind is too strong they don't recommend. Hot air balloon riding is only available on hot air balloon festival around august. Great plains though
