Although being build on a active fault line, we do need nuclear. Energy from the sun, the wind and water are not sufficient. Base load energy from nuclear power plants as well as natural gas fired power plants is what the world needs now and in the nearby future. Coal powered power plants should be fased out as soon as possible.
Taipower should invest in more water-, wind-, tide- and thermal energy sources as well as solar.
And the government should stimulate more recycling.
