★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's very little patience for foreigners from the staff. As a foreigner that had to go in for a late night emergency flu check, the female staff was incredibly rude, not an ounce of gentleness in their responses. It's as if your presence inconveniences them.
I'd hate to say it, but I'd rather be stuck with the flu than have to endure the rudeness of the staff.
UPDATE- Second visit: it's really intimidating coming here as a non-Chinese speaking individual. There are no instructions as to what you need to do or where to go within the hospital itself. Sure, there are English translations of the various departments, but there are no instructions as to what you should do once you arrive. A majority of the nurses/volunteers seem to speak almost no English so they can't help you at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the hospital for the health check required for a work permit (on the 16th floor). There were a lot of people but the process was relatively fast. Depending on the type of document you require, you'll do a variety of different tests. In my case, I had my eyesight tested, followed by my height, blood pressure and breathing. Eventually I had my blood drawn for measles and rubella anti bodies. In case you don't have sufficient anti bodies, you'll be required to get the respective shots. In case you get dizzy when having your blood drawn, you can ask for them to bring you somewhere where you can lie down for the process.
If everything is okay, you can either pick up your results within 5 working days or have them mailed to you. Staff was very friendly and helpful despite them being busy with the many visitors. I appreciated the professionality and friendliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience of this hospital is mediocre. However, when we go to any hospital we can expect a medical attention to our medical problem. The hospital does provide professional doctors and nurses to attend to our medical issues. When it comes to foreigner services, they provide reasonable examination, promptly and at a decent cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have an obvious injury, this is a good hospital to visit, if not don't come here. The doctors are not thorough and just want to see as many patients as possible.

YOU CANT PAY BY CARD so make sure you have enough cash on you or in your easycard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most significant hospitals in Taiwan for over a hundred of years! Lots of excellent doctors, nurses and volunteers. Always very crowded! Been here for numerous times for all sorts of illnesses. The location is excellent by one of the bushiest boulevards in Taipei. The doctors are top notches in Taiwan ??! The nurses are caring and courteous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted COVID ( RT-PCR) test. I tried to take appointment on call multiple times but no one attended call.
I could not make online appointment. The website is so bad and unclear.
I went to hospital but nothing is clear as where to go. Then I was told to make online appointment and no one helped me or assisted me.
Also the cost for test is 7000 in morning and 5000 in afternoon however in other hospitals the cost is 3500NTD.
Worst hospital ever
