Never before have I met with such incompetency. Three of us came back from Philippines. We started feeling worse and worse and decided to go to this hospital. The symptoms are not similar to flu at all. One of us got tested for the flu, when it comes to me, the doctor didn't even check my throat. NOTHING. We asked to test us for parasites, bacteria. Nope. I got anti allergic injection. We all feel worse and worse, we have to find competent doctor now. But I should have know better. I was there once, because I had allergy attack. You know what the doctor gave me? Antidepressants. Don't go to this hospital if you value your health. I'm not surprised it has 3.4 rating. I still think it is too high for their skills.

All the doctors in the gynae department are useless. Unless you have a healthy pregnancy, they can do nothing to treat you or explain the problems to you. They will never listen to your problems patiently, always in hurry and will recommend only progesterone and estradiol tablets whatever the issue with your body..such a waste of education and resources..

Had a small injury I wanted to check. Came to the hospital with no scheduled appointment and got help from a doctor within no more than 15 minutes. I did not know Chinese either but I quickly got appointed a translator that helped me along the way with everything from talking to the reception to helping me where to go and where to sit. Great service.

Great performance overall, but there seems to be an issue with the speed at which they handle incoming patients. I had to wait 3.5 hours just so that the doctor can take a look at my heart. I could've done that at a local clinic within 30 min. I would recommend going straight to the emergency room at the side of the building even if you're just getting meds for your flu Edit: there's a McDonald's right across the street for convenience

The hospital located close to NTHU and NCTU in walking distance. The price to visit is okay, but a bit pricey. Some staff can speak English, the volunteer at the information counters are so nice and can help you in English Last week, i went to the hospital, while waiting the nurse checked my temperature and told me I have a fever. I have go to see the docter at ER instead according to the pandamic prevention policy. The docter who I met that day is old male docter. Because of his unclear pronauciation in English. I asked him to repeat his question 2-3 times with the word "sorry". He told me to ask him say again I have to say "pardon", not "excuse me" or "I am sorry". He repeatedly asked me do I understand English. He talked to the nurse right behind my back in Chinese that he thought I have problem with English. When waiting, he called my name in English but I cant capture his pronaucitaion is my name. So I ask him did he call me. He told me to teach him how to say my name, but I think it is no point to teach him how to pronauce my name, so i told him to call me in Chinese instead then showed him my health insurance card. He asked me how can I have Chinese name and if I wanted him to call my Chinese name, I have to go change my name in the system. I didn't have any problem with other staffs, they even treated me nice and normal, some call my Chinese name from their paper. So i have no idea what happen on my name in the system. But the docter I met that day clearly expressed an unprofessional attitude during treatment. My English may be not so good but to comment on that right behide me is totally rude and did that mean the hospital only welcome Chinese or native English speaking patients? The docter wrote the prescription for me to take the medicine, but he didnt explain to me at all about what medicine I will get and for how many days. And if I'm not wrong, he didnt ask me if i am allergy to any medicine. I have no allergy to any medicine, that is my luck. But what if this happen to you, do you think it is okay and acceptable? So, some docter and staffs are nice but some are not okay like what i experience. If you need to go to hospital, I think others may be perfect option but not here.

Everyone is very helpful. The nurse and doctors all speak English and if they don't, they're still very helpful. Before seeing the doctor, you need to take your own blood pressure and pulse in a machine next to the doctor's clinic area. It was my first time doing it but it was relatively easy to understand. If you have doubts about your weight or height, there's a machine to check right next to the blood pressure machine. Use your health insurance card and slip it in a machine to make sure you're next in the queue.

I made an appointment to see an eye doctor at 11:30 and when I arrived on time they asked me “how many hours can you wait?” I told them I had an appointment but they told me it didnt matter because it was the first time I had been to the hospital and I would have to wait till whenever the doctor had freetime. This place is garbage, what kind of 3rd world hospital is this?

A staff at the triage sarcastically said, “CALL YOUR MOMMY” just because she can’t understand what I’m trying to say. So unprofessional! A person goes to a hospital to seek medical attention. Not seek for mom’s attention. Another staff in the ER is the RUDEST nurse I have ever encountered in my whole life! These people shouldn’t be working in a hospital if they can’t stand talking and assisting patients who speak other language.
